Celebrating Two Incredible Recognitions

Luminate Bank has been recognized with two prestigious honors from the Minnesota Star Tribune Top Workplaces program:

• #1 Top Employer in Minnesota among Large Companies
• Top Leadership Award recognizing Marc Campbell, CEO, for Exceptional Leadership

These awards are especially meaningful because they are based entirely on employee feedback, facilitated by an independent research firm, and in partnership with one of the most trusted media organizations in the Midwest. Each year, the Minnesota Star Tribune partners with Energage to survey employees on culture, values, communication, leadership, engagement, and workplace experience. The program has recognized Minnesota employers for more than 15 years and is widely regarded as one of the state's most credible and respected workplace awards.

Community Corner

Because Winning Together isn’t just a core value at Luminate Bank, but something we strive to demonstrate through our actions, we are excited to introduce the Community Corner on LumiNET, a dedicated space to support and celebrate our collective community impact.

  1. Submit Non-Profit Donation Requests
To bring greater clarity, consistency, and stewardship to our corporate giving, we are introducing a formal process for requesting corporate donations. Effective 1/5/2026, all requests for corporate-funded donations will be submitted through a centralized form and reviewed monthly by a volunteer committee. This process is designed to ensure thoughtful evaluation and equitable distribution of resources. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with you in supporting causes that matter to you and that meaningfully impact the communities where we live and work.

  2. Log Volunteer Hours
We’ve set an ambitious goal of completing 1,000 volunteer hours across the company in 2026. Every hour counts and your efforts make a meaningful difference!

Please start tracking your volunteer activities for 2026 and beyond.

  3. Order Volunteer T-Shirts
Are you volunteering and want to represent? By the end of January, you will be able to order a volunteer t-shirt through the company store. These can be expensed and Corporate will cover the cost.

We’d also love to see your photos! If you share on social media, please tag Luminate Bank, and email any photos to Announcements@goluminate.com so we can feature them in our monthly newsletter.

Monthly Wellness Corner

May — Mental Health Awareness

Wellbeing Tip: Here are simple, practical strategies to help you manage stress, stay productive, and maintain a healthy workload balance in a fast-paced work environment.

Start with Clear Priorities

Identify your Top 3 priorities each day.

Break large projects into smaller, manageable steps.

Clarify deadlines and expectations early with your manager.

Manage Your Time Intentionally

Use calendar blocking for focused work time.

Batch similar tasks (emails, reporting, system updates).

Limit multitasking—it reduces efficiency and increases stress.

Reset Your Mind Throughout the Day

Take short breaks every 60–90 minutes (5–10 minutes).

Practice quick breathing exercises:

  • Inhale for 4 seconds
  • Hold for 4 seconds
  • Exhale for 4 seconds

Set Healthy Boundaries

Use Teams/Outlook status to signal focus time.

Avoid “always on” communication after hours when possible.

Protect time for breaks and personal needs.

Use Your Team & Resources

Ask for help or clarification early.

Share workload during high-demand periods.

Use available tools (ticketing systems, templates, project trackers).

Work Smarter, Not Harder

Automate or streamline repetitive tasks.

Reduce unnecessary meetings—ask if an email would suffice.

Use standard templates for recurring tasks.

Take Care. of Your Body

Stay hydrated and eat regular meals.

Move throughout the day (stretch, walk, stand).

Maintain an ergonomic workstation setup.

Build Long-Term Resilience

Continue developing skills to increase confidence and efficiency.

Recognize personal stress triggers and address them early.

Take advantage of wellness programs and employee resources.

Quick Stress Reset
(60 Seconds)

  1. Pause
  2. Take 5 slow, deep breaths
  3. Write down your next single task
  4. Focus only on that step

Key Takeaway

Balanced workloads come from intentional planning, clear communication, and healthy daily habits. Small, consistent actions can significantly reduce stress and improve performance.

Bottom Line

Workload balance isn’t just about working less—it’s about working intentionally, setting boundaries, and using the right support systems. In a high-demand environment, combining personal habits with team and process improvements delivers the strongest results.
