Community Corner
Because Winning Together isn’t just a core value at Luminate Bank, but something we strive to demonstrate through our actions, we are excited to introduce the Community Corner on LumiNET, a dedicated space to support and celebrate our collective community impact.
- Submit Non-Profit Donation Requests
To bring greater clarity, consistency, and stewardship to our corporate giving, we are introducing a formal process for requesting corporate donations. Effective 1/5/2026, all requests for corporate-funded donations will be submitted through a centralized form and reviewed monthly by a volunteer committee. This process is designed to ensure thoughtful evaluation and equitable distribution of resources. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with you in supporting causes that matter to you and that meaningfully impact the communities where we live and work. - Log Volunteer Hours
We’ve set an ambitious goal of completing 1,000 volunteer hours across the company in 2026. Every hour counts and your efforts make a meaningful difference!
Please start tracking your volunteer activities for 2026 and beyond. - Order Volunteer T-Shirts
Are you volunteering and want to represent? By the end of January, you will be able to order a volunteer t-shirt through the company store. These can be expensed and Corporate will cover the cost.
We’d also love to see your photos! If you share on social media, please tag Luminate Bank, and email any photos to Announcements@goluminate.com so we can feature them in our monthly newsletter.
Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS)

eNPS is a standard way to measure the happiness and satisfaction of your employees using surveys. Employees are asked the question "On a scale of 0-10, how likely are you to refer your company as a place of work?" and then follow up question to explain their answer.
Your Feedback is Driving Action
Thank you for your participation in our quarterly eNPS surveys over the past year. Because of your thoughtful input, we’ve established a strong baseline with an eNPS of 57. Moving forward, we will transition to semi‑annual surveys, with the next one in June.
What We're Improving Based On Your Feedback
Our executive teams recently completed a deep dive into communication, information flow, and meeting effectiveness. Here are the actions underway:
More Effective Meetings -
Be respectful of calendars and use Required/Options invites appropriately.
Meeting invites will now include the objective, meeting type, and an agenda, and leaders will share materials or data in advance whenever possible.
Teams may assign roles (Host, Timekeeper, Presenter, Decision Maker, Note Taker) to keep meetings on track and productive.
Clearer Communication & Better Alignment-
We’re continuing to find ways to enhance how we provide clearer communication & better alignment.
Leaders will communicate key messages, priorities, and decisions more consistently across teams, and we are working to strengthen alignment in decision-making to reduce confusion and avoid unintended downstream impacts.
Inspired by The Advantage, we aim to create “true rumors” - shared clarity across the organization.
Thank you for your valuable feedback!
We will continue sharing updates as more improvements take shape. Thank you for your feedback, your partnership, and your commitment to strengthening our culture. We look forward to hearing from you again in June!

Get it Done - Rebecca Urnise
I want to recognize Rebecca for her exceptional dedication and resilience on a recent file. She worked and reworked the loan multiple times as the closing date continued to shift. Even when the borrowers and agent decided they wanted to close the day after a major snowstorm—requiring her to stop what she was doing and completely pivot—she adjusted without hesitation.
While I was frustrated on her behalf, Rebecca handled every change with patience, professionalism, and grace. Her ability to stay calm, flexible, and solution‑focused under pressure made all the difference. We’re fortunate to have someone with her work ethic and positive attitude supporting our team.
